Theater Night:Outsider's Festival
Camp Provincetown's Popup Playhouse
A Three Short Plays Series
An evening of live theatre presented as part of MISSING TIME.
The night features:
Showdown at the Silver Factory by Stephen Aiken
Not nostalgia, but an autopsy—inside Warhol’s silver-painted hive, Dylan, Edie, and Andy orbit one another as art, fame, and identity collide.
Low Tide by Charles LeBlanc
A psychological chamber drama set in a decaying Provincetown mansion, where a blind art appraiser confronts a series of visitors—each encounter tightening the tension between memory, control, and revelation.
Hughie (Reimagined) by Paul Ahern
A stripped-down interpretation of Eugene O'Neill’s classic meditation on loneliness, performance, and survival.
Three works. Three registers of time: confession, coastal reckoning, and cultural detonation.
Live theatre at The Red Room is intimate, immediate, and unrepeatable—it exists fully in the moment, then disappears.
Doors at 7PM

MAY 9 — MUSIC & FASHION (REFINED RED ROOM VERSION)
NOT YOUR MOTHER’S RUNWAY — Fashion, Music & Performance
Hosted by Lucinda Lipol, this is not a traditional runway or a passive concert—it’s a live collision of sound, style, and performance.
Featuring fashion from Sarah Kain, Demanda Tension, and Steven and Maureen, with music from a cavalcade of Provincetown all-stars, the night moves fluidly between amplified sound, deliberate movement, and constructed looks.
Music sets the tempo.
Fashion carries the signal.
Rooted in Provincetown’s outsider tradition, this is a night where identity is worn boldly, played loudly, and lived in public.

Ginger Minj and Jujubee in "Licked:For Gay"
Get ready to defy gravity — and heteronormativity.
From the team that brought you “Hokus Pokus Live!”,
“Licked: For Gay” is the outrageously funny, gloriously filthy lesbian drag parody of Wicked that turns the Emerald City into a sapphic fever dream set inside the OzDust Barroom, where facts are never black and white but the drama is pure technicolor.
Written by Ginger Minj (winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10) and Tyler Scott, the show stars Ginger as a sexually confused, brand-obsessed Glinda, three shots deep on “Green Elixir” and finally ready to spill the tea.
Opposite her is Jujubee, three-time finalist and fan favorite on RuPaul's Drag Race, serving butch broom-rider realness as an Elphaba who’d rather fight fascism than fake a fairytale, with Cape Cods favorite, Aria Hard, rounding out the cast as the swishy and dishy bartender with a secret past.
Licked: For Gay unfolds inside the Ozdust Barroom as Glinda confesses everything: the dorm-room tension (“And they were broommates…”), the chaotic love triangle with no straight edges, the rhinestoned corruption of a RuPaul lead Oz, the ice bucket challenge heard ’round the world, and the love she didn’t have the courage to choose.
Powered by the music of Ariana Grande, reimagined in full Broadway battle-cry style by Mark Byers, the show mashes pop anthems into broom-flying duets, thrillifying breakup ballads, and a confetti-drenched coming-out finale that will have you clicking your heels and clutching your pearls.
It’s scandalocious.
It’s ridiculously gay.
It’s packed with heart, brains, and courage.
Because in this Oz, the house isn’t the only thing getting slayed —
and there’s no place like homo.
A Gay Masseur's Guide to Happy Endings: Austin Jennings Boykin
“A Gay Masseur’s Guide to Happy Endings” is a candid solo show about sex, intimacy, and what happens when we stop performing.
By turns funny, explicit, terrifying, and unexpectedly tender, the show examines queer male sexuality not as spectacle or scandal, but as labor, language, and survival strategy.
As gay masseur AJ reflects on work, desire, and the stories we tell ourselves to feel less alone, the piece asks a simple question with complicated answers: if your sense of self is built around being wanted, what happens when the wanting stops?
The first public reading of “A Gay Masseur’s Guide…” was in 2025 at Bill Arning Exhibitions in Hudson Valley, NY. After that, it played to sold-out workshops at Red Room in Provincetown, MA, and Off-Off Broadway at the Chain Theatre.
In summer of 2026, “A Gay Masseur’s Guide to Happy Endings” will have its world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Suzanne Westenhoefer
No one ever accused Suzanne of being subtle, not the shuttle driver who took her to the airport, the woman she was in line with at the grocery store yesterday and certainly not her audiences. Subtle, she is not.
After 25 years of groundbreaking, stereotype-shattering and brutally honest comedy, she’s not about to start pulling punches now.
The kid from Amish Country who began her comedy career on a dare is celebrating a quarter century of out, open, no-holds-barred comedy.
Suzanne tells the truth. The truth is life is funny, especially when it’s fermented in Suzanne’s mind. That’s why she could never be in the closet, making her a trailblazer when she started doing stand-up in the 1990s. She was the first openly lesbian comedian with an HBO Special and the first openly lesbian comedian on “Late Night with David Letterman.”
Heck, she was on Sally Jesse Raphael in 1991 on a show called “Breaking the Lesbian Stereotype…Lesbians Who Don’t Look Like Lesbians.” From “OMG, a lesbian has long hair and wears make up” to “I went to Helen and Jane’s wedding last weekend,” that’s how far we’ve come in the 25 years Suzanne has been telling her truth to audiences all over the world. Some of that is certainly thanks to her candor, courage and charisma.
Suzanne never does the same show twice. She can’t. She doesn’t write anything down. She charges boldly onto the stage and what happens is always a mystery and a delight. Enjoy a wild night of comedy in a city near you.
Confessions of a Prairie Bitch:The REAL Nellie Oleson; Alison Arngrim
Confessions of a Prairie Bitch is Alison Arngrim’s comic memoir of growing up as one of television’s most memorable characters—the devious Nellie Oleson on the hit television show Little House on the Prairie. With behind-the-scenes stories from the set, as well as tales from her bohemian upbringing in West Hollywood and her headline-making advocacy work on behalf of HIV awareness and abused children, Confessions of a Prairie Bitch is a must for fans of everything Little House: the classic television series and its many stars like Michael Landon and Melissa Gilbert; Gilbert’s bestselling memoir Prairie Tale… and, of course, the beloved series of books by Laura Ingalls Wilder that started it all.
The Last Bloated Showgirl: Cheril Vendetti
The Last Bloated Showgirl is a hilarious fast-paced irreverent explosion of comedy and music which will either leave you running to the door or to your nearest bail bondsman. Direct from The Comedy Store in Los Angeles comes the outrageous comedienne Cheril Vendetti along with her band The Pasta Fazools. The show generates more laughs than The Gambino Crime Family could put a hit on. Grab your funny bone, leave your political correctness at the door and join in on the fun or ELSE!
David Mills: GLAMOUR + DESPAIR
GLAMOUR + DESPAIR' is a screamingly jaded look at the apocalypse. In this scathing romp through the boneyard of contemporary culture, Mills eviscerates everything from celebrity to casual sex, gay pride to social media, drugs to affirmations, and much more. It's a sharply satirical look at today’s harrowing headlines.
Mixing biting stand-up, storytelling and a singular take on classic nightclub cabaret into innovative, Mills expertly skewers the unrelenting horrors of contemporary life and our 24 hour reality television, cartoon dystopia. ‘GLAMOUR + DESPAIR’ is a provocative mash-up of biting wit and surprising musical reinterpretations including forgotten 50s classics, undiscovered 70s soul bangers, 90s indie favorites, and current pop hits. Numbers include underappreciated gems by Tom Waits, Billy Barnes, Billy Paul, Charlie Smalls, Odessey and Sports Team.
David Raleigh
On the surface, David Raleigh exudes a romantic youthfulness with his impeccable piano/vocal prowess. Look a little deeper and it’s clear that this New York City local, lauded by Time Out Magazine as the ‘Nat King Cole’ for a new generation, has the ‘old soul’ songwriting sensibilities of some of the greatest performers of our time.
