James Anthony is a master innovator in the artform of
DJ’ing. Since his earliest childhood years, James caught
the disco bug and was instantly fascinated by dance
music and DJ culture. It was nobody’s surprised when
he was awarded the “Future DJ of America” at his pre-K
graduation in 1985 (There is well documented video
evidence of all of this!)
Practically growing up behind the decks, James has
cultivated a deep wealth of experience as a touring DJ,
producer/remixer, social media personality and radio
host of the weekly show Get Into The Groove on
SiriusXM’s Studio 54 channel.
A longtime student of DJ, nightlife and dance music
culture, James’ proven versatility and musical
intuitiveness in the DJ booth has made him a much
sought after name. His ability to rock dancefloors of all
different vibes

from soaring disco tea dances to dark
underground afterhours- has earned him a reputation
as an innovator in the DJ booth who is never afraid to
think outside the box to create the perfect sound for
every event. His monthly Saturday James Anthony’s
House event at The Eagle in New York City has been a
cornerstone event since its’ inception in 2022. When
he’s not touring on weekends, he’s in the studio
producing music.
