Tammie Brown Headshot
September 09 - September 13

Tammie Brown is BONKERZ!

A Tammie Brown show is never just a show- it's an encounter! One moment she's belting, the next she's philosophizing, then she's dancing like a vintage cartoon brought to life. You might get a monologue about saving the planet, a Mahi Mahi dance break, or a story that starts in Texas and ends up on another planet. You truly NEVER KNOW WHAT WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN, and that's the magic!

Jackie Cox Headshot
September 12 - September 13

Jackie Cox: Beam Me Up Jackie!

Paging all intergalactic P-Town travelers- prepare for launch, because Jackie Cox is teleporting in with her all new show, Beam Me Up, Jackie!  The "Persian Princess of Drag" and  beloved  RuPaul's Drag Race star returns to The Red Room for her second full season in Provincetown after last summer's acclaimed  Nurse Jackie. Fresh off making history as the first drag queen to appear on Star Trek universe with her role in Star Trek:Starfleet Academy, and her appearance in the Oscar nominated film Song Sung Blue,  Jackie is ready to boldly go where no queen has gone before.....mostly because they had better agents!

Following a show that Provincetown Magazine called a "wonderful blend of escapism, fun, and talent," in Beam Me Up, Jackie! Jackie takes us on a campy cosmic journey through the final frontier and beyond, celebrating the iconic, the absurd, and the fabulously futuristic - with a budget that screams "community theater in space."

Including tributes to Start Trek, Back To The Future, 2001: A Space Odyssey and more, this sci-fi spectacular is packed with stellar live vocals, hilarious storytelling, and enough camp to power a warp drive ( or very likely, a very strong ceiling fan).

Whether she's navigating time travel,  encountering alien life forms (some gayer than others), or desperately trying to remember her lines while pretending it's "improv," Jackie brings heart, humor, and her signature mix of pop, musical theater, and hilarious musical parodies.

So grab your tricorder, strap in, and prepare for a cabaret mission that's equal parts sci-fi fantasy and drag excellence...with a few technical difficulties and emotional breakdowns along the way... that may leave you  with a sudden urge to join Starfleet- or at least Venmo Jackie for her special effects budget. Captain's orders: don't miss Beam Me Up, Jackie! - the must-see adventure of the summer season!

THE O'NEILL FESTIVAL OF NEW WORKS Headshot
September 26 - October 04

O'Neill Theater Festival: Along the River Road" by Candace Perry

In 1811 Louisiana, 500 enslaved people, led by Charles Deslondes, revolt against brutal sugar cane plantations, marching toward New Orleans for freedom. This largest North American slave revolt was erased from history by slave owners. In 2026, Beth Sanders, a Black woman from the River Road, returns to tell their story. Using her wealth, she buys and restores a plantation to give tours from the enslaved perspective. Facing resistance from politicians, family, and the community, Beth’s journey intertwines past and present, exploring the revolt’s legacy and the country’s struggle to confront its history.
One sentence summary:
In 1811 Louisiana, a major slave revolt led by the enslaved Charles Deslondes is forgotten by history, while in 2026, African-American Beth Sanders fights to reclaim and share this hidden legacy amid opposition.

O'Neill Theater Festival : "Edge" by Jim Dalglish

Mark and Tom live alone on a remote farm on the windswept plains of North Dakota, and they've gotten used to it. Then one day a rapacious traveling saleswoman drives up the gravel road in a pink Continental with a plan. "Honey, if this isn't the edge of the world, bet sure as hell you can see it from here... Bet sure as hell." — Abbey
